Diversity Toolkit
 
To best serve our members, I transformed our best practices Diversity Toolkit to include an official diversity and inclusion statement, do's and don'ts, of Chapter D&I directors, recommendations for engaging with students and faculty advisors at HBCU and HACU institutions, an enhanced ideas and events section called, "Thinking Outside the Box" the current vice president's strategic plan and core objectives, and the names and universities of each PRoud Council member and International Ambassador for the one-year term.
PRSA Multicultural Scholarship Endowment

In an incredible team effort, I worked with members of our PRSSA National Committee and with PRSA's D&I Committee to empower the next generation of multicultural communications professionals and leaders.
​
Through strategic outreach, speeches, and social media campaigns promoting our Black and POC award recipients and their experiences, we were able to help PRSA surpass the $50,000 goal needed to establish the PRSA Multicultural Scholarship Endowment following a successful fundraising concert.

The scholarship assists and recognizes young men and women from
underrepresented backgrounds for outstanding academic achievement and their commitment to the practice of public relations.

IPR and PRSA Educators Academy Panel​

I was invited to speak on the "Race in the PR Classroom: The Student Experience" panel, hosted by the Institute of Public Relations (IPR) and PRSA Educators Academy, to be part of one of many conversations needed to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the PR industry.
